You might try a holistic veterinarian for a different take on the situation. There are many that combine traditional with holistic practices.

Both Albuquerque and Grand Canyon are dry desert climates. The only significant difference is the elevation. Even do better when I go down to Phoenix, which is dryer than up here. What I'm hoping to find is some medical documentation discussing the…

Just a thought - but is the climate a lot drier there? I live in a moister climate, but when I travel to a drier place, like in Denver, my nose is much more stuffed up. This also seems to make my sleep apnea worse. Even with a CPAP machine running,…

There are several studies out there that indicate teenagers are hormonely not ready to go to sleep until 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Some high schools have even changes their class hours to start later with improvements in test scores. So it seems to help s…

My granddaughter too is have problems with a rift with her parents. Children are more aware than adults realize and show their stress in many ways. In her case it's bed and daytime wetting (she is 5 years old). My guess, as a parent and grandmother,…

About Me:
I live at Grand Canyon, Arizona. The approximate elevation here is 7,000'. I have had extreme fatigue, muscle and joint aches, daily headaches, memory, and cognitive issues since moving here three years ago. I've even had problems with controling my blood pressure, with tingling/numbness on my left side. These symptoms kept getting worse to the point where I needed to step down from my position or lose employment all together. Finally after many doctor visits to several different doctors, including a psychologist, the diagnosis was whittled down to sleep apnea or MS. I was recently diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea after a sleep study was ordered, and precribed CPAP therapy. I sincerely hope this is the answer to my problems. I want my life and 30 year career back.

I recently had to switch health insurance (job loss). The only health insurance I could afford was to be on my wife's. Unfortunately, the prescription plan isn't very good. My provigil prescription (400mg a day) now costs me $177 a month! This after…

Doctors are the worst patients in this arena. The average family physician sleeps only 4 to 5 hours per day.
