- I am a Family Physician with 4 daughters (Three are teenagers!), a husband, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a chinchilla. I have 17 years of experience and a very busy new practice. I have a chronic pain condition and migraines as well as sleep apnea. My daughters have ADHD. I try to educate patients on the importance of sleep. I feel there is a HUGE gap in the education of young physcians when it comes to sleep medicine. Patients need better access to (and insurance coverage FOR) sleep diagnostics and care!!!
