Hi. I was recently diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. I hated the idea of a biPAP and everything associated with it. The "mask face," the mask leaking, the mask "farting," etc., etc. I just wanted to spread the word about a product I found a month...
I have it and think it's because my mask leaks air. Or at least I noticed it's worse when it happens.
Does anyone else have this problem, I never had bags under my eyes until I started using a CPAP. Is there any remedy for this?
I thought I would let you know that I just saw a You Tube video talking about Remzzzs & how the idea was born. It even shows the inventor's picture as his voice tells the story...pretty cool. This product has been so helpful to me, I wanted to let...
A sponge, hadn't thought of that. I have bought a few different materials to try but the quilt batting, that is a good idea. Thanks for the info, I will be trying them all!! What mask do you use, mine is Comfort Gel.

I had that problem too originally with CPAP, but that was solved along with the even greater problem -- the leaks and squeeks and beeps. I made a gasket for myself.

I just started using CPAP. I was told that I was getting red marks, that the mask was to tight on my face. Do you know for sure you have the proper fit? That could possibly be the cause of those red marks too? Also it could be some kind of irritat...

- Just glad I can help! I'll be interested in how it works for you too. Being 55 myself, I was concerned that I'd look like a leather football from not being able to use face cream at night. I hated that! But I can use my regular night time face products again & am a happy camper!

- I used to have that problem. In fact, I was tightening my mask so much to try & get the air to stop leaking...that I ended up having vision problems!! My eye doctor made me promise to not use the mask for 2 weeks just to see if the vision would improve...which it did. At this point I really began searching for an answer. Not long after I was told about the RemZzzs & was able to be part of a testing program. Truthfully, this has made it comfortable to wear my mask all night long. I still wake up if I'm thirsty or to use the restroom...but not because of air leaks or discomfort! Good luck & I hope you find the answer for yourself too!
