Ditto on the Xyrem suggestion. Modafanil is a stimulant with WAY less side effects than Ritalin or Amphetamines. If you have cataplexy, clomipramine is what works for me. Good Luck.

Ask if you can get Xyrem, the only non-stimulant shown to help EDS. The problem is it's expensive.
Do you have Cataplexy? If so, you could ask for Effexor to control it, which has a mild stimulating effect.
